In career game no. 155 with the North Stars, Henieman recorded his first two-goal game on Sunday in a 4-3 shootout win at Alpena. Heineman has obliterated his previous career-highs for assists this season 13 through 54 games, with seven coming with TC up a man.

"Chris got us some big goals to get us going on Sunday," Stars coach Anthony Palumbo said. "He's solid defensively, and on special teams he's a very important piece of the puzzle."

Motte conitnued to pen the best backstopping campaign in the Stars' four-year history, winning all three games this weekend, including shootout victories on Friday and Sunday. H'es improved to 21-9-2 overall with a 2.37 goals-against average and .914 save percentage.

"Every time we think we've seen C.J.'s best, he comes back with another solid performance," Palumbo said. "He makes big saves at big times and we seem to be in a position to go after the win when he's back there."

Jean scored two goals on Friday and added shootout markers Friday and Sunday to help lift TC to a trio of wins. He was also +4 on the weekend, and now has 21 goals to go with 19 assists.

"He was an absolutely dominant force against USA, no question," Palumbo added. "It's come to a point where we do depend on Kyle and expect him to play to his talent level - and he just continues to do that for us."
