
Mark graduated in 2006 from Michigan State University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Kinesiology with a specialization in Athletic Training and Health Promotions. During his studies at MSU he worked as a student athletic trainer working directly with most of the varsity athletic teams including football, basketball, field hockey, track and field, cross country, soccer, baseball, and tennis.
Mark has attended numerous clinics to further his knowledge including MET (medical exercise therapy), Pneuxmex speed clinic taught by former Olympic gold medalist Dan O'Brien, and the Lee Taft Speed Clinic in New York.
Currently employed as Director of FastFitness/Accelerated Mobility Physical Therapy at Copper Ridge in Traverse City, Mark also works full time as a Certified Athletic Trainer. He is also the Athletic Trainer for the Junior A North Stars hockey team and is getting involved with local high school teams.
Mark enjoys hanging out with friends, playing sports, spending time with his fiancˇ, Jessica, and plans to get back into coaching hockey.
